Obituary of Kathleen Howe

Howe, Kathleen “Kathy or Kath” Age 73, of Burnsville, passed away May 14, 2015 of a prolonged illness. Survived by loving partner of 55 years and husband of 51 years, Jim; son, John and his wife, Trish; granddaughters, Katie, Kurstin and Kristina. Former nursery school teacher, figure skating instructor, elementary school teacher and college professor. She loved biking, skiing, gardening, making quilts and other crafts including handcrafted stuffed animals, especially teddy bears. She won ribbons for all of the stuffed animals she entered in the MN State Fair – most of them blue ribbons. Memorial gathering 2 – 4 PM Mon., May 18 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN 55435 (952-924-4100). In lieu of flowers, donations to The Smile Train are preferred.
