Obituary of Anne Roberta Lucas

Anne Roberta Lucas of Prior Lake, Minnesota passed away October 29, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in St Louis Park, Minnesota at the age of 79.  

Born April 13, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was the loving daughter of Edith (Dols) and Wilfred Lucas.  Anne was raised on a farm near Jordan, Minnesota and graduated from Jordan High School.

After earning an Associate Degree in nursing at the former St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Minneapolis, she worked in many different nursing arenas in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Minneapolis area. She earned her B.S. degree in 2001 at College of St. Francis, Bloomington and was the Manager of the Park Nicollett Health Services Orthopedic Clinics for 17 years before her retirement in 2009.  In retirement, she served as a reading and math tutor for Americorp at Aspen Elementary School in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

She loved cooking, travel, good food at new restaurants, yoga, walking around Lake of the Isles and especially reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both maternal and fraternal grandparents; brothers, Chuck and Joseph; and sister, Martha.

She is survived by daughter, Jennifer Olson of Boston, Massachusetts; grandchildren June Stevens of Washington DC and Sophia Stevens of Boston; brother, John (Marie) of Prior Lake; sisters Libby (Keith) Bilyeu of Ames Iowa; Polli (Dave)Edberg of Belle Plaine, Minnesota; and Jackie Fiebelkorn of Chaska, Minnesota; 13 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends

The family will be gathering for a private celebration of life in late November and would like memorial contributions made to acharity of your choice.
