Obituary of John L. Anderson

John (Jack) L. Anderson, age 91, Died Peacefully in his sleep on 9/4/2024  at Hilltop Healthcare in Duluth MN. Jack was born on 10/7/1932  to Kurt and Catherine (Moritz) Anderson in Duluth. He served in  the marines from 1952 to 1957. He married Carol Jean Anderson  on 1/5/1957. They were married for 67 years. Jack retired as an office manager from Peavey/Conagra elevator in 1991.

Jack was known for his good sense of humor especially when he bowled with the guys every Tuesday and Friday night. He loved spending time with his family. Especially taking his grandson Dustin to the canal when he was young.

Jack is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Lisa (Anderson) Rich, grandson Dustin Rich, grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Kurt and Catherine Anderson. Siblings Thomas, Richard, and William Anderson, and Catherine (Anderson) Sieben.

Visitation will be held at 2 P.M. with a 3 P.M. service on Saturday, September 21 at the Cremation Society in Duluth. A luncheon will follow.
