Obituary of Mary Ellen Sprowls

SPROWLS, MARY ELLEN Age 79, of Brooklyn Park, MN, went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2016. She was a beloved wife and mother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mary Ellen was a Title I, Chapter I, paraprofessional at the Osseo school district for 22 years. She loved children and was active in the community of Brooklyn United Methodist Church as a Sunday School Teacher and also in the hospitality area. Mary Ellen and Craig were married for 58 years. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nell Little; father, Ray Little; and grandson, Mickey Kelly. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Craig; daughters, Liz (Kurt) Fuhr, Dana (Ryan) Kelly, and Kelly (Erik) Paulsen; brother, Dan (Jo) Little; grandchildren, Sarah (Mike) Solberg, Kristen (Kyle) Sommer, Katy (Jim) Sustacek, Sean Kelly, Seamis Kelly, Cassie Paulsen, Bri Paulsen, Tayler Paulsen, and Liesl Paulsen; great grandchildren, Hattie and Josie Sustacek; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Mary Ellen’s Life will be held on Monday, July 25th at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, 55429. Service will begin at 1 PM with a visitation one hour prior.
