Obituary of Michael G. Jackson
Michael G. "Mick" Jackson, 65, of Duluth, passed away on July 24, 2016 at Solvay Hospice House with family and friends by his side.
Mick was born in Duluth on July 12, 1951 to Elmer and Lois (Doering) Jackson.
He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1969. Mick married Mary Anderson on Nov. 13, 1974. The couple raised four children and opened their home to many others with medical needs. Mick's deep-rooted passion was music. He played keyboard in many bands throughout the years including Sound Inc., Main Event, Winterwood, Busterville, and Rock-A-Billy Revue. Mick will be remembered and cherished for his dry sense of humor and gentle soul.
He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as daughters, Andrea and Trisha.
Mick is survived by Mary, his wife of 41 years; daughter, Emily; son, Michael; grandchildren, Mairead, Jack and Georgia; sisters, Susie (Dick) Kultgen and Jackie (Jim) Huybers; as well as many extended family members and friends.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1 p.m. Aug. 20, in The College of Saint Scholastica's Mitchell Auditorium. The Concert for Mick benefit will be held on Aug. 21, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Clyde Iron Works, featuring over 20 musical acts.
