Obituary of Marilyn Hansen

Hansen, Marilyn "Mari" Age 82, of Bloomington, MN, died peacefully on August 4, 2016. Mari, "with an I" was the virtual sunshine of so many lives. Mari was a loving and caring partner to he husband, Donald. Together they traveled extensively and enjoyed the company of family and friends. Mari was also an accomplished career women for her time, and excelled at every professional endeavor she pursued in the field of business administration. But it was the way Mari made people feel when she was in your presence that will be remembered and missed. Mari only need enter a room and you were drawn to her warmth, humor, elegance and her beautiful smile. Mari never judged others and embraced all who were fortunate enough to share her day. Mari will be missed by many adoring nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Hansen; parents, Edna and Victor Anderson; siblings, Georgene Johnson and Daryl Anderson. Celebration of Mari's life will be held 11 am Sunday, August 21st at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. (952) 924-4100. Visitation at 10:30 am. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
