Obituary of Robert W. Nylund

Robert W. Nylund, 86, of Proctor passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 IN Solvay Hospice House. He was born March 22, 1930 in Duluth to William and Ingrid Nylund. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 1948. He retired from the Duluth Fire Department in 1985 and was a longtime member of Forbes United Methodist Church. His generosity and kindness will be missed by many. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; his parents; and a sister, Lorraine Hansen. He is survived by his children, Scott (Debbie), Steve (Terrie), Jill (Joe) Hanson and Jackie (Mark) Ziells; many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy (Jerry) Berg. The family would like to thank Solvay Hospice House for the wonderful, over the top care they gave to Bob. Per Bob's request a private service will be held at a later date.
