Obituary of Scott William Connell

Scott William Connell, age 63, of Eden Prairie, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Preceded in death by parents and one niece, Dana. Survived by wife, Edda Bjornson Connell; son, William; daughter, Erin; brother Gary & his wife Diane. The family wishes to thank all of the strangers that tried so hard to save Scott from the horrific accident caused by a distracted driver. Thanks also for the continued prayers for Edda's recovery from the crash. Scott had recently retired from General Electric, a senior project manager. He looked forward to enjoying a life with Edda at The Villages, Florida, playing golf and enjoying life to the fullest. He will be terribly missed by his wife and children who adored him. Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 16 at 1:00 PM at the Minnesota Cremation Society at 7110 France Avenue, Edina. Refreshments follow service.
