Obituary of Gary M. Adams

Gary M. Adams died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, in his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born Aug. 3, 1951, in Virginia. He retired in June from Lake Superior College after a lengthy and successful career with the state of Minnesota. Gary loved deer hunting, his time at the cabin, working on numerous projects and most of all, his family. He will be remembered as a strong, genuine and courageous man who was a friend to many. Gary is survived by his wife, Beth; sons David and Beau; daughter Erin; special nephew Zach Adams; mother-in-law Judy Wagner; brothers Ken (Marie) Adams and Jim (Evie) Adams; sisters Kathleen (Henry) Sande and Cheryl and Bonnie Adams; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug, 25, in Hermantown Community Church, 4880 Maple Grove Road in Hermantown. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3-6 p.m. Thursday at Clyde Iron Works, 2920 W. Michigan St., Duluth.
