Obituary of James E. Thwing

James E. “Jim” Thwing, age 89, of Hopkins, passed away August 25, 2016. Deeply loved Husband, Father, Grandfather and soon-to-be Great – Grandfather. Jim was a Master Printer at Nordic Press for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, music, family and good food. He proudly bore the title “Croquet Aficionado.” Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Shirley; daughter, Barbara (Scott) Thwing-Swanson; daughter, Suzanne (Tim Ryan) Thwing; son, Brian (Kathleen); grandchildren: Zoa Ryan, Javier Ryan, Kelsey (Nick) Karls, James Coltrane “Coco” (Megan) Ryan, Natalie Swanson, Charlotte Haru Ryan, Janelle Thwing, Rebecca Thwing and Quinn Ryan and great-grandchild to be, Ambrose Scott Karls.
