Obituary of Janet Walterson

Walterson, Janet Passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Ellendale, Mn. on August 26, 2016. She lived there with her husband Bob of 38 years. Jan was born in Winnebago, Mn. on May 8, 1948 to Willard and Maybell Kraywinkel. Jan spent most of her time as a child/young adult in Monticello, MN. After high school, she moved to the Mpls area where she lived/worked. She met Bob there and they were married in 1978. They moved to Ellendale in 2003 where they spent many happy years at their retirement place. Jan is survived by her husband, Bob; her sister, Judy (Bill) Bellach; sisters and brothers in law, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. (952)924-4100. Visitation at 10:30 am. A private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A separate memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in the future for the friends and neighbors in the Ellendale area. Please watch the Star Eagle for more details.
