Obituary of Kathleen Ann Laurent

Kathleen, Ann Laurent, 76, longtime resident of Cloquet went to be with her Lord Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, with her family at her side. She was born June 24, 1940 in Erie, Penn. She grew up in New Orleans where she met and married her husband, Hermis Laurent. They later settled in Minnesota in 1964. Kathy retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Duluth, as a Supervisor. She loved to play Bingo and the slots at the casinos, but she especially loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kathy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hermis; a son, Joseph; a great-granddaughter, Delta; and two brothers, Thomas and Timothy Moyer. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Dan) Larson, Harold Laurent, Michael (Debbie) Laurent, James (Terri) Laurent and Angela (Ben) Urban; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia (Ronald) Moyer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
