Obituary of Eric Lester Lundin
Eric Lester "Les" Lundin, 85, of Duluth, formerly of Meadowlands, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at Bayshore Nursing Home.
Les was born in Duluth to Eric and Ida Lundin on Oct. 5, 1930.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Les went to work for the U.S. Corps of Army Engineers and was master of the Coleman which was a floating crane. He went all over building break waters and other jobs, retiring after 43 years. He also worked for the Edmunds Co. doing maintenance and delivered fuel oil for ICO.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Ida Lundin; brothers, Denny, Ronnie and Russell; sister, Gladys; sister-in-law, Janice Lundin and brother-in-law, Tom Johnson.
Les is survived by wife, Cleo of 55 years; sisters, Donna Johnson and Janet Steinbach; brother, Howard (Barbara); step-children, Patricia (James) Kasell, Lloyd Rehbein, Randy Rehbein and sister-in-law Nancy Lundin; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and his special great-grand, dog Woodrow.
The family would like to thank Dr. Steven Long and the Mount Royal staff, St Anne's Staff, Bayshore Staff, St. Luke's Hospice and emergency room Dr.'s and staff.
