Obituary of Alvina M. Hinnenkamp

Alvina M. Hinnenkamp, 94, of Duluth passed away Tuesday Sept. 13, 2016 in Essentia Health Care surrounded by her family. Alvina was born in Solon Springs on July 9, 1922 to the late Wallace and Esther Carr. She married George Hinnenkamp on March 2, 1946, they enjoyed 59 years together, he preceded her in death 2005. Alvina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by eight siblings. Survivors include sons, Howard (Debbie), Gerald (Judy), Donald (Diane), Dean (Lisa); one daughter, Jean (Galen) Okerlund; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Fern O'Connell. A private family service will beheld at a later date.
