Obituary of Lucille Hantz

Lucille "Lou" Hantz, 83, of Duluth, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept.14, 2016. She was born in Duluth on May 10, 1933 to the late Samuel and Mary Hantz. Lou had many interests. She enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, woodworking and leatherwork, Lou was also a talented painter and prolific writer. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Victoria Fracassi, Thomas Hantz, Patricia Armstrong and most recently Virginia LaBud. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Gloria "Jean" McGonigle and Richard "Dick" Hantz; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gnesen. Deacon Thomas Kubat will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be held following the service.
