Obituary of Forrest S. Rosas

Forrest S. Rosas, 24, of Duluth, earned his wings on Sept. 14, 2016 at Essentia Health. Forrest was born in Duluth on Feb. 8, 1992 to Norman Rosas and Angela Rosas-Byrne. He attended and graduated from Denfeld High School class of 2013. Forrest was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing video games with his brothers and spending time with his niece and nephew. He was also fond of his beard. Forrest will be remembered for being a jokester and a tough kid. "I'm ok." He was preceded in death by his brother, Sef Jacob; and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Rosas. Forrest is survived by his mother, Angela Rosas-Byrne with stepfather and best friend Michael Byrne; brothers, Luke (Tracy) Doughty-Rosas and Kurtis Rosas; half-brother, Spencer Rosas; nephew, Thaen; niece, Ada; paternal grandfather, Jesus Rosas; maternal grandmother, Leola (Dennis) Burke; maternal grandfather, Lynwood Doughty as well as extended family members and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Interim Healthcare and Essentia ICU for the extraordinary care they provided Forrest.
