Obituary of Douglas A. Neudecker

Douglas Allan Neudecker, age 56, was born in Redwood Falls, MN on May 28, 1960 and passed away peacefully on September 18, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. Doug’s home for most of his life was in Prior Lake, where they raised three children. His last place of residence before falling ill, was in Spring Park, MN at a nice little place on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. There he was able to enjoy the lake, which was always one of his favorite places to be. Throughout his career, Doug held various positions as a drafter/mechanical designer. His outdoor interests in life were fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Neudecker (in 2013), his parents Donald and Mary Ellen Neudecker, both sets of grandparents, and many other loving relatives. He is survived by two sons, Derek (Danelle) Neudecker and Dillon Neudecker; one grandson, Jaxon; two step grandchildren, Lexi and AJ. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl (Jim Muellenbach) Owens; two brothers, Scott and Wayne Neudecker, and his children’s mother, Darcee Neudecker. An informal memorial service will be held to honor Doug’s life on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South in Edina.
