Obituary of Tristen Martin Hanson

Tristen Martin Hanson, 20, of the Twin Ports, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. Tristen was born in Duluth on March 10, 1996 to Cory Lyn Hanson and Sherri Lyn (Bartlett) Hanson A lifelong resident of the Twin Ports Tristen graduated from Denfeld High School in 2014, he was employed as a cook at Grandma's restaurant since May 2014. Tristen served his country as a Cavalry Scout and was a proud member of "Bulldogs" from Bravo Troop, 1st Squadron, 94th Cavalry Regiment of the Minnesota Army National Guard. Tristen was preceded in death by grandmother, Sylvia Hanson; grandfather, Steve Victor Jr.; half-brother, Paul W. Tyson; and cousin, Dale Ellis Tristen is survived by his parents; brother, Dusty Hanson; step-father, Gary Cora; grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Bartlett, Colleen Victor; aunts, Lori (KC) Barghini, Carri (David) Litowitz, Cindy (Bryan) Kent; uncle, Larry Bartlett (DJ Warner); and many cousins and friends. GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Oct. 8, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
