Obituary of Jerre Lee Rock
Jerre Lee Rock passed away on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016.
Jerre was born Feb. 14, 1983 and was the son of David and Renea Johnson of Alborn.
Jerre attended school at AlBrook before going on to work for Cirrus and was employed with VEIT Specialty Contracting at the time of his death. He was a member of the Local 49 Operating Engineers. Jerre was a member of the White Earth Nation and his Native American culture was very important to him. Miigiweinniui, meaning He Gives Away Man, is Jerre's Ojibwe name which was exemplified by his generous gift of life to others through organ donation.
He is survived by his children, Emma Abernathy and Chloe, Eli, Jasmine, Simon, Quinten, and Jocelyn Rock; parents, David and Renea Johnson; siblings, Pamela (Matthew) Houle, Holly (Nick) Barcus, Amy Jo (Alan) Price, Alicia (Larry Navarro) Smith, David Del (Austin) Johnson, Alex Rock, and Jason Rock; several nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Emily Maki.
