Obituary of Scott Martin Overland

SCOTT MARTIN OVERLAND Scott Martin Overland, 68, of Duluth, passed from this life on Sunday, Oct. 9, at St. Mary's Hospital. He had struggled with the effects of a stroke for a number of years. Scott was born in Duluth, on June 20, 1948. He was a 1966 graduate of Duluth Central High School and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 294 of Hibbing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Overland Everett, in July of this year; and his father, Arthur E. Overland, in 1977. Scott is survived by his son, Scott (Darcy) of Forest Lake and their daughters, Miranda and Jesseca; his brothers, Wayne (Mary), Mark (Cathy) and Greig (Valerie) Overland. He is also survived by a daughter Kelly and her three children. At his request there will be no memorial service.
