Obituary of Brian Kirsh

Brian "Norm" Kirsh, 48, of Duluth passed away peacefully in his sleep on Oct. 11, 2016. He was born on March 13, 1968 in Duluth to Lyle and Elizabeth Kirsh. He graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1986 and went on to have his only daughter Chelsea in 1989. He enjoyed trap shooting at Old Vermillion Hunting Preserve, country western music, riding his Harley Davidson, NASCAR and local dirt track racing, movies, anything sweet and a cocktail or two. He devoted his life to his family business "Sporty's" where he truly was, and is an icon. It was there that he built life long relationships with so many. He will be greatly missed. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Kirsh and Lyle Kirsh; and great nephew, Blake Holappa. Brian is survived by his daughter, Chelsea (Eddy) Kirsh; sister, Cheryl (Rodney) Seeley; nieces, Jamie Watters, Amanda Holappa, and Lindsey Seeley ;and many great friends. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 11 to 12 Noon Saturday Oct. 22, 2016, in Waters of Life Church, 6221 Rice Lake Road with a luncheon to follow.
