Obituary of Carolyn Anderson

Carolyn "Sue" Anderson passed away peacefully Oct 16, 2016 in Duluth. Sue was born to Astrid "Toots" and Alfred Sowl on Sept 4, 1944. Sue had polio as a child and overcame most adversities she ever encountered. Hearing no just meant more determination to show how she could. Sue always had a smile and loved crafts, bingo, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Sue married David Anderson and together they raised four children. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; daughter, Jane; brother, Geoffrey; and sisters, Shari and Bev. Sue is survived by her brothers, Fred (Amy), Pat (Kathy), Mike and Ethan (Marion); as well as her son, Chris (Mercy); daughter, Julie (Curtis); son, Kevin (Jen); and daughter, Karen (Cory); along with many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 19, 2016 in the Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
