Obituary of Joseph G. Dacey

Joseph G. Dacey, age 62, a lifelong resident of Green Isle died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Marie Stiener Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska. Joe was born March 26, 1954 to Jay and Agatha (Anderly) Dacey. He attended Green Isle elementary school and graduated from Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1972. He loved the outdoors and going to the home farm. He was employed by the City of Green Isle as a maintenance worker. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. At St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Green Isle with Father Jerry Berger and Father Keith Salisbury co-celebrating. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Before the Mass at the church. Burial will be in the St. Brendan’s Cemetery. Joe is survived by sisters Mary Bisson, Bloomington, Joan Nagel, Scottsdale, Ariz., brothers John (Mary) and Neil of Green Isle, many nieces and nephews and special friend Bonnie Alsleben. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers-in-law Martin Bisson and Daryl Nagel and a great nephew Mitchell Lucas.
