Obituary of Janine Beth Bong

Age 59, of Maplewood. Born Feb. 5, 1957. Died peacefully in her home on Dec. 3, 2016. Jan was a dedicated employee for 27 years at the VA Medical Center pharmacy in both Mpls and Denver. Jan will be remembered for her beautiful blonde hair and bright, blue eyes, joyful giggle, sense of humor, kindness, love of nature and sunshine. Preceded in death by her father, Charles Pollari & sister, Anne Keeler, both from ALS. Survived by husband Richard J. Bong, 3 children: Richard, Jamie and Sally, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by mother Lois Pollari and siblings Keith (Linda) Pollari, Kevin Pollari, Lynn (Steve) Koll, and Lora (Matt) Pollari-Welbes, 7 nephews and 3 nieces. Celebration on Saturday, December 10th at North Heights Lutheran Church, 2701 Rice Street, Roseville, MN 55113. Visitation at 10 am, Memorial Service at 11:30 am. Memorials Preferred to donors or family’s choice.
