Obituary of Paul Einar Olson

Paul Einar Olson, age 77, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 with his family by his side. Paul was born June 19, 1939 in Souix City, IA to Einar and Rose Olson. Paul graduated from Dana College in Blair, NE and careered in corporate tax and regulations for utility companies. He was employed by Central Telephone in Lincoln, NE; Chicago, IL; Fort Dodge, IA and Burnsville, MN. He also served in the Nebraska Air National Guard. Paul had a zest for life and love of people. He cherished his wife, Lois, of 52 years, his 4 children, their spouses and eight grandchildren. His interests included chorus singing, boating, fishing, enjoying God’s creation, golf and sports. Paul courageously braved Parkinson’s disease for many years, and was always grateful for any help he received. There will be a memorial service at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville on Wednesday, December 28th.
