Obituary of Gerald Olaf Borseth

Of Mound, MN passed away on February 3, 2020 at the age of 82.  Born in Wadena, MN in 1937, Gerald served in the Army and attended Bemidji State University before being an elementary school teacher in Little Falls and the Westonka School Districts until his retirement in 1996. He then continued to be a substitute teacher for another 14 years. Preceded in death by wife, Rita; sisters, Phyllis, Marilyn, Gloria, Helene; brother, Gene; mother, Edith; and father, Olaf. Survived by son, Neil; sisters, Lorna (Charles) and Ramona (John) along with many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Society in Waconia, Ridgeview Hospice, Sojourn, and the many other people and agencies who had helped take care of Gerald in his final years. A celebration of Gerald’s life will be announced sometime in the future.
